Meet Dave Johnson, Russell Morin Hospitality Group's Culinary Director. Dave brings deep experience to our team, and joins us after serving as Chef and Kitchen Manager at RISD Dining, and most recently, Executive Chef at Bayberry Beer Hall. His career has even had him cooking for three presidents!
Dave is responsible for all culinary operations across the Russell Morin Hospitality Group portfolio — CRU PVD in Providence, CRU Cafe in Newport, and Morin's in Attleboro. He oversees recipe, menu and concept development at each restaurant, and cultivates lasting relationships with our culinary partners.
Dave is passionate about leading a high-performing culinary team that is committed to improving the guest experience.
When he's not at CRU PVD, you can find him fermenting krauts, kimchis, pickles, sourdoughs and vinegars, or adding to his collection of Birkenstocks and vinyl.
